There’s a micro-USB port just under the screen that can be used for firmware updates or for charging. There are six colors that you can change to: blue, yellow, white, red, green or purple. What’s neat about this display is that you can change the color of the UI. The screen and UI look modern and classy. It’s not super bright but it’s bright enough that you can read it outside in the sun without a problem.

Otherwise, they’re all solid buttons and they work well. There’s some button rattle from the fire button, but only if you really shake the device. The buttons are all silver and circular, with the fire button being larger than the adjustment buttons. Last but not least, the screen and buttons. Depending on the coil that you’re using, you can switch drip tips to get the draw that you desire. The Gemini Hybrid comes with two 510 drip tips one is a wide bore 510 and the other is a narrow bore MTL drip tip. Instead, I pushed down from the top (where the drip tip would be) and pushed the pod out that way. There’s a little lip on the outside of the pod to pull it out of the device but I found it hard on my nails. The drip tip has to be removed first before you take out the pod. There’s a spring loaded platform on which the pod sits to make its connection with the device. The pod sits snugly beside the battery and slides in and out. It has a spring loaded negative terminal that makes it easy to insert the battery. The battery compartment is snug but not tight. This is a bit of an annoyance but it’s easy enough to fix by adjusting the ribbon. If the battery ribbon isn’t flat behind the panel then the panel won’t sit flush. The panel has a little bit of up and down wiggle, but it sits flush as long as the battery ribbon is in the right place. The panel is held on by strong, hidden magnets that hold it firmly in place. Pulling off the panel gives you access to the battery compartment and pod. The window is big enough to just see the ejuice level in the pod but it could have been made a little bit bigger. On each panel there’s a vertical cutout to view your ejuice level, as well as a few venting holes for the battery. They’re very high quality and don’t look like they’re going to peel or come off any time soon so I don’t mind the sticker at all. They aren’t real resin, but stickers that look like resin. Three of them are carbon fiber, the other six are a mix of neat resin-like patterns. There are 9 colors available and all of them look pretty sweet. You will definitely won’t forget that you have it in your pocket, that’s for sure. However, the Gemini Hybrid is much heavier than most other pod vapes owing to the fact that it uses an 18650 battery for power. At 82mm tall, 47mm wide, and 22mm thick, it’s just a little larger than your average pod vape, but much smaller than your average box mod. It has a boxy shape that isn’t uncommon to see for a pod device and it’s a nice size. The Gemini Hybrid is a nice looking device. It comes with a coil for direct lung vaping, as well as a coil for MTL vaping, and it comes with two drip tips (DL & MTL). It also features adjustable airflow control. It features adjustable wattage and can fire at up to 80W. The Gemini Hybrid takes a single 18650 battery for power. This means that you can use the Gemini Hybrid as a regular AIO pod vape, or use the 510 adapter and use it with your tanks like you would a box mod. It’s called the hybrid for a reason it’s a pod device that takes replaceable coils but it also comes with a 510 adapter included in the box.
